Day 2:
Today I'm not ranting at all. In fact today, I'm dedicating my blog to
Jordan Rice.
Jordan Rice is the 13 year old boy, absolutely terrified of water, who made the ultimate sacrifice and gave up his own life for his 10 year old brother in the Australian floods.
Jordan Rice lived in Toowoomba, Queensland. He was 13 years of age when the floods caught him, his younger brother and his Mother.
Rescuers tried to rescue Jordan, when he decided his brother should be rescued first. Rescuers managed to pull his 10 year old brother Blake out of the fast flowing flood water. They then went back for Jordan and he insisted his Mother be saved first. He begged and pleaded for them to take his Mother. Unfortunately the current was just too strong for that heroic 13 year old boy and his heartbroken Mother.
Rest in peace Jordan, you are a very brave and admirable young man and I can only assume you were too good for this Earth and God needed you back. You will never ever be forgotten. You've touched the hearts of strangers from all over the world and your younger brother and Father will always be proud and remember you as the heroic loving boy you are.
God bless Jordan Rice, his late incredible Mother, his heartbroken Father and his eternally grateful younger brother Blake.
God bless the rescuer that tried in vain to save Jordan Rice and his Mother.
God bless the other victims of the floods in Australia.
God bless the victims of the Brazilian flood.
God bless the survivors without anything but the clothes on their backs.
Inspirational Quote Of The Day:
Not needed. Jordan Rice is the inspiration we need.
Life is too short.
